UP TGT PGT 2022: Current Exam Status

• 14 July 2025: as of July 14 there are no chances of UP TGT exam on 21 and 22 July.
• Department is mentioning that because of Kanwar Yatra and No availability of centers yet they can not conduct the exam on 21 and 22nd July 2025.

Eligibility Details For UP TGT & PGT

• TGT: Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject + B.Ed. from a recognized institute. Age: 21-60 years as of 1st July 2025.
• PGT: Master’s degree in relevant subject. Age: 21-62 years as of 1st July 2025.
• Physical Education: C.P.Ed. or equivalent certificate required.
• Must be a citizen of India.

Selection Process

• Written Examination – 125 Questions.
• For TGT – 4 marks per question
• For UP PGT – 3.4 Marks Per Question, -1 Marks of Negative marking per question, 50 Marks of interview.
• Time: 2 Hours
• Interview – Only For UP PGT posts
